AMC Contracting Flight anticipates a competitive acquisition for Manual Weather Observing Systems (MOS) to include the following: a hand-held barometer, a psychrometer, an anemometer, a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, a compass, a rain gauge, a density altitude wheel, a snow measurement device and a carrying case. The proposed indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery contract is anticipated for five years (basic and four (4) option periods) with the minimum quantity of 31 systems to be ordered at contract award and delivered within 30 days to Scott AFB IL. A maximum quantity of 481 systems may be purchased over the life of the contract. This Request For Proposal (RFP) FA4452-95-R0005 is anticipated to be released on or about 14 Feb 95.
