FIRST INDUSTRIAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY SYMPOSIUM AND EXPOSITION TO SPOTLIGHT GOALS AND NEW PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES A wide variety of strategic sessions, workshops and exhibits will be featured at the first Industrial Energy Efficiency Symposium and Exposition hosted by the DOE's Office of Industrial Technologies (OIT) and scheduled for May 1-3 at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. The Expo will serve as a forum for initiating new cost-shared partnerships between industry and government, building strategic alliances with industrial trade and professional groups, and defining the role of the federal government and other stakeholders in future RD&D investments. Discussion topics derive from the OIT/Industry goal of providing more efficiency at reduced cost in the following industries: chemicals, refining, forest products, steel, aluminum, glass, and metal casting.
