The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Annapolis Detachment intends to negotiate on a competive Firm Fixed Price basis for the procurement of one (1) low pressure air compressor with water lubricated air end complete with its own electrical motor to power the water lubricated air end. The compressor shall come complete with one complete set of custom tools, fixtures, pullers and any other associated items unique to the compressor not normally available through tool distributors, that are required to perfrom maintenance on the compressor. Data deliverables shall be operation and maintenance manuals.Some of the general specifications include: size NTE: 8'x5', height 7', capacity: 200 std cubic ft (+/-3%) at 125lb discharge pressre when inlet conditions are 14.7 lb/in squared (abs) and 70 deg.F, all material in contact with water shall be non-corrosive (coating and plating is not acceptable). Delivery to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Annapolis Detachment shall be 140 days after contract award date. This procurement is unrestricted as to business size and is classified under SIC Code 3563.
