70 -- HARDWARE/SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE POC Contact MAJ George Sears, 703/695-4858, Contracting Officer, Alex Graham The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to place a delivery order with Falcon Systems, Inc. of Herndon, Virginia against GSA Schedule contract GS-00K-94AGS-5628 for the following software and associated services: (1 ea.), Excalibur EFS-H100 Client/Server software (UNIX version) license for 100 concurrent users; (1 ea.), One year Excalibur software maintenance package, to include software updates, new releases, and telephonic technical support. The required equipment will be delivered FOB destination to the Pentagon, VA. All analysis and determinations shall be performed in accordance with the guidance of the Federal Information Resources Management Regulation (FIRMR) as shown in Part 201-39.803-3 titled ''Procedures'' under Part 201-39.803, ''GSA nonmandatory schedule contracts for FIP resources''. This synopsis should not be considered either an RFQ or a RFP. There is currently no solicitation document. Firms who can furnish the requirements stated above at prices, terms and conditions more favorable than those of the referenced GSA schedule contract are invited to submit responses. In order to be considered, responses must indicate make, model number, price, and must include catalog and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical information upon which to base an evaluation. The Contracting Officer will make an award determination based on information received or issue a solicitation. Al responses furnishing the above information will be considered. If either a solicitation is issued, or an award made, an additional synopsis may not be published. If no affirmative, substantive responses are received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis, a delivery order with Falcon Systems, Inc. shall be placed against their GSA schedule contract.
