The requirements are entirely based on the European Standard ETS 300 162. 7. Objective And Rationale: In addition to the objective of preventing trading restrictions by introducing new European technical regulations. The obligations pursuant to the International Treaties (IMO), intended to enhance the safety of the ship and its crew (solas convention) shall apply. 8.
