The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to place an order under SUPSHIP, Groton Basic Ordering Agreement N62789-95-G-0002 to provide analysis, design, planning, material acquisition, and preparatory work for emergency repairs prior to the RESTRICTED AVAILABILITY (RAV) of the USS PITTSBURGH (SSN 720) homeported at Groton, CT. RFP N00024-95-R-2110 will be issued to General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340 since this firm has the requisite unique experience, technical knowledge, background, and close proximity to the SSN 720 homeport to perform this work to support ship's operational schedule.
