SOURCES SOUGHT: Sources are sought for one (1) High Speed Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) test system (tester) for research and educational use to verify VLSI design, simulation, architectural issues and methods of integrated circuit testing. Any proposed solution must be capable of generating 64K of user programmable test vectors at a 500 MHz rate in all the industry standard formats, including but not limited to: Non-Return to Zero (NRZ), Return to Zero (RZ), and Return to 1 (R1). The tester must be able to stimulate and acquire data at the specified rate on a minimum of 40 pine (channels) and must be expandable up to 256 channels without any major changes in hardware or software. All channels must be able to stimulate and acquire data from integrated cirucits fabricated using either TTL, CMOS, or GaAs technology with driver levels and receiver thresholds settable in the range from -1.6 to 5.5 volts. Supply with software and hardware to interface to a pre-existing network (ethernet) of Sun workstations.
