The Bureau of Land Management, in relation to its oil and gas Reservoir Management program, is interested in acquiring integrated reservoir estimation, petroleum economics, geological subsurface mapping and well log interpretation software. We are interested in an off-the-shelf UNIX-based software compatible with the IBM RS6000 platform with the AIX operating system and OSF-Motif x-windows interface. The software must interface with the Informix relational data base management system. The software must be compliant with the Petrotechnical Open Software Corporation (POSC) Epicenter data model. The subsurface geological theme map must be capable of interfacing with ARC/INFO for surface theme map overlay. The BLM requests all interested vendors for this category of software application to provide information as to their software capabilities in relationship to subsurface mapping, cross-section, complex fault solution, girding, and analyzing well log data in complex formations and reservoirs.
