A -- RESEARCH AND AEROSPACE INFORMATION SERVICES SOL 9BI201504P POC CARRIE ASH, Tel:713-483-4151 Contracting Officer:CARRIE ASH, Tel:713-483-4151 The contractor will provide Research and Aerospace Information Services that consists of a) publications and graphics services which would entail technical editing and writing, word processing, and graphics services, b) information management services to scientists, engineers, administrative, and other personnel which entails engineering drawings, operation of the Maintenance and Operation Reference Center, operation of the Scientific and Technical Information Center, records management/ archives, automated systems support, and engineering data management, c) technical information support which consists of project configuration management support, training and human resources administrative support, special studies, surveys, reports, and clerical and professional support, d) correspondence and communication management which consists of the JSC mail center, distribution management, and JSC central switchboard, e) printing, duplication, and microforms management, and f) public affairs support which consists of exhibit services, public information and education services, and community services. The primary research and development customers include Mission Operations, Flight Crew Operations, Space & Life Sciences, Engineering, and Space Shuttle and Space Station Programs. A 5-year contract is contemplated which consists of a basic year to commence on or about September, 1995 and four 1-year priced options. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released in April, 1995. Proposals will be due 30 calendar days after release of the RFP. A cost-plus-award-fee, completion form contract is contemplated. This procurement is a national Small Business set-aside competition. The SIC CODE is 8731 and the Small Business Adminstration size standard is 1000 employees. The Center encourages teaming arrangements. It is anticipated that a draft Statement of Work (SOW) will be released in March, 1995.
