The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) seeks contractor support in 1) researching, developing and evaluating the application of pollution prevention techniques to reduce and/or eliminate the emissions of potential indoor air contaminants from materials and products used in indoor environments; and 2) provide supporting research to enable the integration of pollution prevention into EPA's overall Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) source management strategy. The effort will consist of a twelve month base period and two twelve month options. The RFP will be issued approximately March 1, 1995 and proposals will be due 30 days later. The Government anticipates a cost-plus-fixed-fee type contract. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the solicitation by submitting a written request. Telephone and FAX requests will not be honored. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The SIC Code No. is 8731 which has a size standard of 500 employees. Firms must identify their size status when requesting a copy of the solicitation. Firms who fail to do so shall be considered to be large businesses. A limited number of copies are available. Only one copy shall be issued to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or more different geographic locations. Copies will be issued on a first come, first serve basis.
