Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be provided in addition, where applicable): radio telex equipment for maritime application. 5. Title and number of pages of the notified document: NL-ETS 300 067/067AL specification of minimum requirements for maritime radiocommunications equipment, radio telex equipment, operating in the MF/HF bands. 6. Description of content: the technical requirements contain the minimum requirements with which radio telex equipment, operating in the MF/HF bands, shall comply. The requirements are entirely based on European Standard ETS 300 067/067AL. 7. Objective and rationale: in addition to the objective of preventing trading restrictions by introducing new European technical regulations, obligations pursuant to international treaties (IMO), intended to increase the safety of the ship and its crew (Holas convention), shall apply. 8.
