L -- LAND MOBILE RADIO (LMR) MAINTENANCE SERVICES SOL F04684-95-R-0012. DUE 031095. Contact Marilyn Rouviers, Contracting Officer, at 805/734-8232, extension 6-5965. The 30th Space Wing intends to contract for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Maintenance Services at Vandenberg AFB, CA. Contractor to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, supplies, transportation, supervision and equipment necessary to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, remove and provide engineering services to correct malfuncton in any equipment, networks or systems on commercial two-way radio communication equipment. Offerors must be certified by the LMR industry and be experienced in correcting malfuncions in Motorola Secure Smartnet II Trunking Radio System, or equivalent system, that includes trunking central controller, trunking telephone interconnect, dispatch consoles, trunking repeaters and base stations with National Security Agency (NSA) approved Type 1 Fascinator encryption devices. The period of performance for the contemplated Requirements type contract is 1 Oct 95 through 30 Sep 96, with four one-year option periods. The Government intends to furnish office space on Vandenberg, including utilities, and access to Base telephone services. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7622 with a size standard of $3.5 million. Award is scheduled for mid Sep 95.
