Request written notification (including the telephone number for a POC and the size of the firm) be given to the procuring office above not later than 14 Feb 95. The Air Force is considering a contract for both potable non-Edwards Aquifer water for five San Antonio military installations and a non-potable reuse water supply for irrigation of Lackland AFB golf course. The requirement will be developed so that offerors may bid on all or part of this requirement. Offerors must submit information regarding their ability to deliver the water required. They need to show their authority to serve (i.e., a Certificate of Public convenience from the State) and provide maps showing their authorized service territory. Offerors must give assurance they can provide a firm supply even during the driest times. Water will need to meet federal and state clean water requirements for the purposes used. Currently no infrastructure exists for delivery on non-Edwards Aquifer water. Potential suppliers will need to project when they might expect to have a delivery system in place. Also, they will need to provide company brochures and/or flyers indicating how long they have been in business, what sort of projects they have done, structure of the company ownership and management, an any other information which might demonstrate their ability to serve.
