Trail obliteration and rehabilitation of the old abandoned trails. Installation of water bars, and grade breaks will be required along the switchback construction, rock blasting, rock retaining walls, tread widening, ditching and rock cairn construction. Elevations range from 9400' to 10,100'. The entire project is inside the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area. Motorized rock drills will be allowed. Gallatin National Forest, Hebgen Lake Ranger District, Madison County, MT. Package will be available on or about 5/15/95. Contract time will be 400 calendar days. Est start work 7/17/95.
