Provide all plant, labor, tools, equipment, appliances and materials to perform alterations/repairs to the Engine Shop, Builing 1801 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work includes but is not limited to the removal of exterior/interior doors/frames, exterior windows, through the window/wall air conditioning units, hot water heating system, fuel-oil domestic hot water heater, fuel-oil and propane storage tanks, fuel-oil fired steam boiler, steam floor mounted hangar unit heaters, main distribution panelboard and branch circuit panelboards and provide new exterior/interior thermal doors, frames and trim, thermal windows, trim and screens, painting of exterior/interior building elements, stucco finish exterior surfaces, zoned hot water heating and air conditioning system, electric domestic hot water heater, service entrance rated distribution panelboad, and emergency and exit lighting, and repair existing brick masonry and concrete window sills. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated with a period of performance of 270 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. A solicitation will be issued on or about 17 February 95. The proposed procurement listed herein is a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Set-Aside. Proposed contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1541. Any concern responding to this solicitation is classified as a small business if the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceeding three fiscal years do not exceed $17.0 million dollars.
