The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, permits and services necessary for and incidental to the HVAC replacement work at five postal facilities in Kentucky. Four have boilers that are replaced with new split systems. One has rooftop package units. THree of the facilities have asbestos abatement requirements prior to demolition of existing system components. Offeror shall provide all coordination to remove asbestos as delineated and demolish and replace the HVAC systems components as described in the drawings and specifications. Six months will be allowed for accomplishing this work. However, work shall be phased to minimize disruption of cooling and heating needs of the occupants. USPS will provide abatement monitoring. The award will be lump sum, but costs must be listed in the offer by facility. The five postal facilities locations: 1. HVAC Upgrade at the Main Post office, 321 E Main St, Cambellsville KY and the estimated cost of the project is between $110,000 and $130,000; 3. HVAC Upgrade at the Main Post Office, 234 S Main St, Hardinsburg, KY and the estimated cost of the project is between $60,000 and $80,000; 4. HVAC Upgrade at the Main Post Office, 101 E Main St, Lebanon, KY and the estimated cost of the project is between $100,000 and $125,000; and 5. HVAC Upgrade at the Main Post Office, 2041 Creative Dr, Lexington, KY and the estimated cost of the project is between $85,000 and $110,000.
