SOL N62472-91-B-0332 DUE 032495 POC Contact Point, SHEILA BROWN fax, (610)595-0646, Contracting Officer, IRENE KATACINSKI, (610)595-0637 The work includes: the dewatering of electrical manholes; removal of residual sediment, sludge, oil, and debris; testing water & sludge for contaminants; disposing of water & sludge; removal & disposal of asbestos cable fire wrapping and asbestos conduit packing; removal of unused cables, brackets, and steel ladders; repair of cracks, walls, floors, and ceilings; and the removal of covers, frames, and ceiling structures. There will be provisions for new: pressure-injected grout from the inside onto exterior surfaces, non-ACM cable wrapping, conduit sealant, plugs, brackets, hangers, concrete ceiling structures, covers, frames, interior sprayed-on lining, data cable, control devices, video tapes of completed work, and any other incidental related work. The SIC code is 1629 and the industry small business size standard ($17.0 Million) are applicable to this contract. Estimated cost range: $1,000,000 to $2,500,000. This proposed contract is being considered for 100% set aside for SDB concerns. Interested SDB should, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically DB concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as unrestricted.
