Work involves removal of twenty-five (25) underground storage tanks (USTs) and installation of ten (10) new tanks including an underground fuel storage tank, oil/water separators, and two above ground fuel storage tanks. Work also includes associated piping removal/replacement and site work (fending, pavements, etc.) Portions of the project will be accomplished on the grounds of a civilian commercial airport following the provisions of an FAA-approved safety and phasing plan. The project is estimated to cost between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This Invitation for Bids will be full and open competition unless two or more offers are received from Small Disadvantaged Businesses, at which time, this requirement will be changed to a Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered in accordance with these set-aside procedures. Solicitation packages will be available on or about February 14, 1995.
