Heard, 703-695-4858, Contracting Officer, Alex Graham The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to place a delivery order with Computer Associate International, Reston Executive Center, Bldg 3, Reston, VA against GSA Schedule contract GS00K-95-AGS-5514 for the following training: Training for CA-Realia II Work Bench (On Site) (30 Days x 5 units per day = 150 units, Software: CA-Datacom Unix 32 Users (1 ea.), CA-Realia II Workbench (30 ea.), Ca-Datacom/PC LanPack 8 Users (2 ea.), CA-Reallia JCL (33 ea.). CA products will be used to replicate production environments which currently runs on an IBM 3090 with a MVS/XA operating system onto a RISC 6000 with a AIX Operating System and 43 Intel based PCs with a DOS operating system. The replicated environments will be used to maintain and modif. All analysis and determination shall be performed in accordance with the guidance of the Federal Information Resource Management Regulation (FIRMR) as shown in Part 201-39.803-3 titled ''Procedures'' under Part 201-39.803, ''GSA nonmandatory schedule contracts for FIP resources''. This synopsis should not be considered either an RFQ nor an RFP. Firms who can furnish the requirements stated above at prices, terms and conditions more favorable than those of the referenced GSA schedule contract are invited to submit responses. Response shall indicate make, model number, price, and must include catalog and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical information. The Contracting Officer will make an award determination based on information received or issue a solicitation. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. If either a solicitation is issued, or an award made an additional synopsis may not be published. If no affirmative, substantive responses are received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis, a delivery order with Computer Associates International shall be placed against their GSA schedule contract.
