MCBRIDE/CONTRACTING OFFICER CNT F01600-95-R0015 The Air Force Quality Institute (AFQI), Maxwell Air Force Base is seeking to identify sources who can provide software that will facilitate the overall Quality Approach used across the Air Force. This request is for Collaboration/Groupware Software. This software product must support real-time electronic structured group discussions on pre-selected controlled topics for the expressed purpose of conferencing and meeting support. The software must support the creation of agendas, voting on action items by participants, producing meeting minutes and reports. All actions should be under the control of an electronic facilitator. The user interface should be such that the meeting participants can focus on the meeting and not the technology. The Government requires products that will operate in a Banyan Vines environment (initially) and other LAN Systems in the Air Force inventory. The software should also support remote dial-in over the same. The Government requests that responsible firms provide basic information concerning their product capabilities, e.g., support services, training, consulting, technical integration services, warranties, etc. The Government may request options to acquire additional site licenses in excess of 150 individual 20 user (+) license copies and support services. This is a request for vendor product information and not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This information should be no more or less than the standard commercial documentation that a vendor would provide as normal marketing information to a commercial customer (i.e. glossy publications, product descriptions, magazine articles). No special effort should be made to develop detailed and costly descriptions of the products and/or services that your company provides. No cost will be incurred by the Government as a result of this synopsis. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis the Government may request additional information and/or request capability discussions with responsible firms. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however this information will be used in the assessment of capable sources. No cost or pricing data is required or requested.
