A -- ELECTRO-OPTICAL DEVICE VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS SUPPORT SOL DAAL01-93-R-2003 DUE 032295 POC Maria Briseno, Contract Specialist, (505) 678-8260; Contracting Officer, Barbara L. The Army Research Laboratory, Survivability/Lethality Analysis Directorate, White Sands Missile Range, NM, intends to solicit contractors for Electro-Optical Device Vulnerability Analysis Support. The support will be provided at the Electro-Optical Vulnerability Analysis Facility (EOVAF) located at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The anticipated contract is for support the Government requires for performing theoretical, laboratory, and field O/EO system signature, jamming, characterization analyses, support equipment modification, and hardware and software maintenance. The O/EO devices analyzed at the EOVAF cover the spectrum from the visible/near-infrared (ir) to the far-IR. Types of devices investigated include direct view optics (DVO) such as telescopes, day television, image intensifiers, and forward looking ir (FLIR) systems. The proposed contract is expected to be a small business set-aside, cost-plus fixed-fee, term type contract. The period of performance is for a three-year basic contract with two one-year options. Those small business firms that responded to the Sources Sought Synopsis need not respond again. Firms interested in receiving a Request for Proposal must submit their requests in writing to Army Research Laboratory, ATTN: AMSRL-OP-WS-PR (Maria Briseno) Contracts Branch, White Sands Missile Range, NM 88002-5513, or via fax at (505) 678-4812, not later than 15 days after publication of this notice.
