(407) 494-2706. Sources Sought. The Air Force Technical Applications
Center (AFTAC), Nuclear Debris Collection and Analysis Branch, requests
information from potential sources to develop and test a prototype
ground-based xenon gas sampler and analyzer for the purpose of nuclear
test ban treaty verification. The sampler/analyzer system must be
completely automated and operate continuously in remote/adverse
environments. This is not a solicitation but a request for information.
Responses should include the following: (1) information describing
experience and background qualifying potential source: (2) discussion
of recent efforts(s) which indicate qualification as a potential
source, (3) summary of potential source's proposed approach; and (4)
outline of anticipated problems to be addressed. White papers should
provide as much detail as possible to aid in the evaluation of
concepts. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly
marked. Any classified information provided with your response must be
segregated and supplied in a separate volume. This program is
anticipated to be a single award, multi-year effort. Firms responding
should indicate whether they are, or are not, a small business, a
socially and economically disadvantaged business, a woman owned
business, a historically black college or university, or minority
institution. SIC Code 8731 applies and Small Business size standard is
500 employees. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small
business set-aside based upon the responses hereto. Respondents must
indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and
any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. Due
to the nature of this potential effort, NO foreign country sources
will be considered. Contractor personnel would require DoD security
clearances of at least the SECRET level for this effort. Participation
in this potential effort would require both a facilities and storage
capability security clearance of at least SECRET. Sources must also
include the Government assigned Contractor facility Code for the
applicable facility and storage facility that would safeguard any
classified data supplied by the Government. Respondents should provide
information regarding capability of the firm to satisfy this
requirement, but not later than 20 days after date of this notice.

Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the
Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Any
costs incurred as a result of response to this announcement shall be
borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for
reimbursement. No written or telephone requests for a solicitation
package will be accepted, and requests for further information will not
receive a response. All responsible sources may submit information
