(513)366-2071 The U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a need
for a contractor to provide vehicle related testing and analytical
support for regulation of motor vehicles and engines for the Office of
Air and Radiation's Office of Mobile Sources, Ann Arbor, MI.
Specifically, the contractor shall provide flexible testing and
analysis support for regulated and unregulated pollutants emitted by
on-and off- highway light duty-and heavy-duty vehicles/engines
operating on conventional, reformulated or alternative fuels.
Additionally, the contractor shall provide support for EPA's
evaluation/development of advanced vehicle propulsion systems and
emission control components; safety testing/analysis of emission
control systems and components; cost and other evaluation of emission
control components; and support for test cycle development. The
required support shall take the form of work assignments to be issued
periodically as the need arises. The contractor may be required to
provide rapid-turnaround response and to work on multiple work
assignments concurrently. It is anticipated that the Government will
award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract with two (2) twelve month option
periods. Any resultant contract will also include options to increase
the 1evel of effort within each contract term. The total base level of
effort is anticipated to be 19,500 direct labor hours inclusive of
base quantity option hours. The identical amount of LOE hours are
expected to apply to both option periods I and II.. Request for the
