C -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY ARCHITECT-ENGINEER CONTRACT FOR MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS AT THE UTAH AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE Sol DAHA42-95-R-0001. Due 031495. POC: Sherri Shepherd, Contract Specialist, 801/576-3884. A-E Services to include Type ``A'', ``B'', and ``C'' engineering servies. The scope of services includes preparation of design documents, cost estimates, economic studies and reports on various mechanical, electrical, architectural and structural projects and providing inspection and testing services on specified construction contracts. The contract will be firm fixed price, and will be for one (1) year with an option to extend the contract one (1) additional year. Delivery orders will be issued setting forth the requirement for each project. The total cumulative dollar value of all delivery orders (to include the option year) will not exceed $400,000.00. Each delivery order will not exceed $150,000.00. Technical capabilities required are civil, structural, mechanical (fire protection included), electrical and architectural disciplines. The firm selected will have the ability to put together a multi-discipline design team that is experienced in working together. Evaluation factors in order of importance are: (1) professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, and in indefinite delivery contracts; (3) capacity to accomplish the work in the required time with assigned key personnel; (4) past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) location of firm with respect to the work site and knowledge of local area; (6) volume of Department of Defense (DOD) work with the object of effecting an equitable distribution of DOD contracts. Three firms will be selected by a pre-selection board. These firms will be interviewed in person by the final selection board and will be evaluated on the above criteria and in addition, the following rating factors which will rank ahead of number (1) above: (a) overall perception of the final selection board of the A-E's ability to respond to the unique requirements of this type of contract; (b) presentation of anticipated concepts and methods of approach. This is not a Request for Proposal. Responsible firms of all sizes are invited to submit Standard Form 254 and Standard Form 255 to the Contracting Office by COB on 14 March 1995. (030)
