The General Services Administration is interested in seeking information from industry currently providing its customers with on-line electronic catalogs for ordering and payment of products and services. Our goal is to obtain a robust, user-friendly system for use by Government employees, customers, and vendors. Our intention is to purchase a base-line system that offers the most flexibility and sophistication while demonstrating the ability to bridge across multiple platforms and databases. The system should have built-up connectivity to the Internet, packet access, and/or modem dial-up features. Industry is invited to offer products and services for possible consideration for this pilot program. A list of industry points of contact will be maintained for further consideration when seeking solutions to our oprational requirements.
