TARGET'' PROCUREMENT SYMPOSIUM - NORFOLK, VA The Tidewater
Government/Industry Council, the Tidewater Association of Service
Contractors, and the College of Engineering and Technology at Old
Dominion University will co-host their forth annual Service Contracting
Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on March 28, 1995 at the Norfolk
Waterside Marriott Hotel, Norfolk, VA. The symposium, entitled ``The
Changing Face of Government Procurement: How To Hit A Moving Target''
will host a number of noted speakers, including: The Honorable George
Allen, Governor, Commonwealth of Virginia; The Honorable Paul Kaminski,
Undersecretary of Defense (Acquisition and Technology); The Honorable
Colleen Preston, Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition
Reform; and Admiral William Owens, Vice Chairman, Joint Chiefs of
Staff, and Chairman, Joint Requirements Oversight Council. An afternoon
panel discussion, moderated by Dr. G. William Whitehurst, will feature
Mr. William Coleman, Deputy Administrator, OFPP; Dr. James McMichael,
Asst. Deputy Undersecretary of Defense (Acquisition, Education and
Training); Mr. Mark Lumer, Army representative to the DAR Council; Dr.
J. R. Beyster, Chairman of the Board, SAIC; and Mr. Paul Lombardi,
President, DynCorp. The registration fee is $95 per person, ($110 after
March 1, 1995), and includes a luncheon and parking. For further
