58 -- BREECHPLATE, COUNTERMEASURES CHAFF FLARE SOL N00164-95-R-0061 DUE 032095 POC Contact, Code 1163, Don Davis, Contracting Officer, 812-854-3709 Code 58 -- Breechplate, Countermeasures Chaff-Flare is a part of the new ALE-47 (V) N reprogammable Countermeasure Dispensing System that increases aircraft survivability by determining and executing the most effective off-board countermeasure response, thereby reducing cockpit workload. The breechplates will be manufactured in accordance with NAVAIR Drawing 3268AS600 and Acceptance Test Procedure 3268AS619. Contract will be for 300 each with an option quantity of 1,500. Delivery of production units shall begin 210 days from effective date of contract award. Preliminary inspection will be at source with final Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination with destination as Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. Request for Proposal to be issued on or about 16 February 1995.
