Proposals are sought for a portable field air monitoring system consisting of a Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer and telescope, with computer hardware and software for data acquisition and analysis. The hardwares shall be based upon an IBM compatible notebook computer, minimum; 386 processor, 8MB RAM, 33Mhz, with 340 MB hard drive. Software shall be able to acquired, store, Fourier transform and analyze spectrometeric data. The software shall include a library of calibrated absorption reference spectra, minimum of 150 compounds at a spectral resolution of 0.5 CM-1. All software must run in a Microsoft Windows environment.
