67 -- DIGITAL ELECTRONIC IMAGING SYSTEM SOL DAAD05-95-R-0744 DUE 030195 POC Contract Specialist Pamela Morrison (410) 278-7414 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground has a requirement to purchase the following: a camera imaging system to consist of digital image cameras (one stationary and one hand-held) and a digital ''dry'' photographic quality printer. The printed image produced by the ''dry'' medium printer shall have the same intrinsic qualities as photographs produced using ''wet'' chemicals, such as sharpness, resolution of image, and longevity of the image. The ''dry'' printing eliminates the need to dispose of processing chemicals using environmentally safe methods. The hand-held camera shall have interchangeable memory cards that enable an unlimited number of shots to be made. The memory cards used in the hand-held camera must be interchangeable with the stationary camera for processing the images through the printer. The Government intends to procure this equipment on an other than full and open basis from Baxter & Associates, Inc., 4425-F Forbes Blvd, Lanham, MD 20706.
