Two (2) year requirement for Printing and Publishing Sports Media Guides for football, basketball, and ice hocky activities. Print and publish the following (80-page plus cover) Media Guides in the following quantities: Football Media Guide, 4500 BK; Basketball Media Guide, 1500 BK; and Ice Hockey Media Guide, 1500 BK. Print and publish Football (104-page plus cover) Game Programs in the following quantities: 30,000 BK. Print and publish additional pages for the respective Media Guides. The Government reserves the right to purchase additional pages by issuing a delivery order to expand the number of required pages. Football Media Guide, four (4) additional pages in Color and in Black & White, 1 JB; Basketball Media Guide, Twelve (12) additional pages in Color, 1 JB; and Ice Hockey Media Guide, sixteen (16) additional pages in Color, 1 JB. Print and publish the respective Media Guides in a Saddle Stitch Bindery, i.e., Spiral Binding. Football Media Guide, 250 BK; Basketball Media Guide, 250 BK; and Ice Hockey Media Guide, 250 BK. Print and publish additional pages for Football Game Programs. The Government reserves the right to purchase additional pages by issuing a delivery order to expand the number of required pages. Football Game Programs, four (4) additional pages, in Color, 1 JB; Football Game Programs, twelve (12) additional pages in Color, 1 JB; and Football Game Programs, sixteen (16) additional pages in Color, 1 JB. The following specifications comprise the minimum salient characteristics of requirement for printing and publishing the media guides and football programs. Football Programs: (a) Page Layout: Six (6) sixteen-page signatures, plus 1 eight-page signature, plus cover. Two (2) of the sixteen page signatures are ''change pages.'' All other pages are standing. (b) Stock: Cover -- 80# coated cover; Inside -- 70# coated offset (paper must be an American sheet as per all Government bids). (c) Composition: USAFA (AHSI) will furnish photographs including photos and/or slides for cover and all editorial copy, camera ready, via electronic media or hard copy. (d) Printer must furnish: Four (4) color separations and layout for covers. Typesetting and layout for approximately 20% of the ads. All necessary screens. (e) Size: Program finished size will be 8.5 x 11'', 104 pages plus cover, with ability to expand if necessary with additional color and/or black and white pages. (f) Ink: Cover -- (4) color process on outside front outside back, inside front and inside back. Inside -- (4) color process or up to 16 pages, not to exceed (3) signatures, black ink only on remaining pages (4 color double truck is included in 4 color signature count). (g) Quantity: Minimum of 30,000 per season (counts to vary according to home games). (h) Bindery: Saddle stitch, trim, and box. (i) Deadlines: AHSI to deliver: Standing pages to the printer four (4) weeks before the first game. Change pages to the printer no later than Tuesday morning the week of the game. This solicitation is restricted to companies that have access to printing and publishing facilities within the Colorado Springs, CO area -- This is a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the U.S. Government.
