SOL DAKF40-95-B-0028 DUE 041395 POC Contract Specialist, PHILLIP MERRITT EXT 235, (910)396-4362 The US Army has a requirement for 7000 each, 50 pound bags of crushed ice, and 9000 each, 12 pound bags of blocked ice for delivery to Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA), Cold Storage Building 222, Fort Pickett, Virginia. Bags for crushed ice will be made of clear plastic, polyethylene, minimum 3 mil with wire or heat sealed tie. Bags for block ice will be made of clear plastic, polyethylene, minimum of 2 mil with wire or heat sealed tie. Period of performance 1 August 1995 to 31 July 1996. Bid opening date and time will be included in the solicitation. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. Only faxed or written request for the solicitation will be accepted. Due to automation of the Bidders Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is, therefore, required that all responses/requests include the vendor's business size.
