This announcement will serve as notice that the Air Force Phillips Laboratory, Lasers and Imaging Directorate, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico intends to contract for scientific and engineering research and development support related to semiconductor and solid-state laser technology. Performance will take place at Kirtland Air Force Base (West), New Mexico, Buildings 416 and 422. A more complete technical description may be found in the sources sought synopsis published in the CBD on 17 June 1994 and revision thereto, published 30 June 1994, for solicitation F29601-94-R-0024. This acquisition will be conducted under full and open competitive conditions. Contractual effort is contemplated to be a 5 year effort, under a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level of Effort arrangement.
