Briefing for Industry. The JAST Integrated Product Team (IPT) for
Supportability and Training will present a comprehensive program on
current and future initiatives in support of JAST Training and Mission
Planning Technology on February 22, 1995 from 8 AM to 5 PM at the
Radisson Plaza Hotel, Alexandria, VA. The JAST Training and Mission
Planning IPT's goal is to demonstrate technologies that will decrease
training and mission planning LCC, increase commonality, and enhance
training effectiveness. JAST will concentrate on training cost drivers
to include technologies to lower maintenance training costs, improve
combat capability by enhanced sortie generation capability, and enhance
deployability by reducing logistics footprint. Presentations will
include the JAST Program Director; JAST Overview; Training IPT
Overview; Training Continuum; Maintenance Skills; Visual Systems;
Threat Database; Software Reuse; Manpower, Personnel Training
Management System; Mission Planning and Rehearsal; Embedded Training;
Networking; Electronic Classroom, Interactive Courseware, ISD; Computer
Based Training Authority Systems; and Virtual Strike Warfare
Enviornment. The IPT will also seek industry comment on affordable
approaches to training and mission planning which meet JAST program
requirements to provide critial building blocks for the next generation
