K -- CONVERSION OF VEHICLES TO COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS FUEL FOR EGLIN AFB FL SOL F08651-95-B-0067 DUE 032495 POC Rickey C. Dean, Contracting Officer, 904-882-4418. 30 Jan 95 Eglin AFB FL is seeking sources for the conversion of 100 gasoline powered motor vehicles to compressed natural gas SAE J1616 and gasoline. Vehicles shall be duel fueled. Fleet is a mixture of sedans, pickups 1/2 - 3/4 ton, and 7 - 14 passenger vans. All conversion systems to be latest model in production, tested and certified to California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and meet Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards through federal test procedures, and comply with national fire protection agency vehicular fuel system standards. Systems must be closed loop feed-back control having an adaptive learning system. System must have a 3600PSI capability. Services shall include transportation of the vehicles to and from the conversion location in excess of a 100 highway mile radius of Eglin AFB FL. Services shall also include training of government technicians. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 7549. This action is under 100% small business set aside, the standard for which is a concern including its affiliates, having an average annual sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of $5,000,000.
