R -- INTEGRATED UNDERSEA SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING & INTEGRATION SUPPORT SOL N00039-95-R-0005(Q) POC J. Wine, 0222, (703)602-1092. Synopsis No. 12. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, PD80, is seeking sources for Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Support for IUSS programs. The SE&I support contractor shall provide support for all IUSS systems, including the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor Systems (SURTASS), Sound Surveillance System (SOSUS), Fixed Distribution Systems (FDS), Surveillance Direction Systems (SDS), Advanced Deployable Systems (ADS), Special FMS Projects, and activities/units supporting the worldwide IUSS mission. Effort required is 130 Staff Years for the base year (FY96), a FY96 Option of an additional 20/25 Staff Years and four option years of up to 155 Staff Years each. Potential Offerors must have a TOP SECRET facility clearance. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8711. The RFP will be available only by calling the SPAWAR Contracts Bulletin Board System (BBS), (703) 602-9494, and downloading it. The BBS operates at 14,400 BAUD with a setting of 8:N:1. The RFP will be in WordPerfect for Windows 5.2, MS Word 2.0, and Excel 4.0 format. The file will be compressed by a shareware program, PKZIP 2.04G. The RFP file name is 95R0005.ZIP. To download the RFP the prospective offeror will need at a minimum, PC or MAC with modem emulation software that supports VT100 or ANSI standing; a modem that operates between 300 bps - 14.4K bps and approximately 500K of free disk space. The RFP will not be available for at least 15 days from the date of this synopsis. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company, and the Point of Contact's name and phone number, and optionally provide answers to a questionaire on electronic contracting. The bulletin board will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, as the demand may be heavy, it may be necessary to call repeatedly or on off hours.
