aluminum storm windows, and the furnishing and installation of 59 new
wood, true divided lite, sash insulating, double hung windows and 8
wood, true divided lite, insulating glass, sliding glass replacement
windows. Paint all wood window exterior trim and sills. Windows to be
factory primed and painted. Revanish interior wood stools and window
jamb and incidental related work at USCG Station Chatham, Chatham, MA
(Barnstable County). Estimated cost of this project is between
$25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation packages to be available on or
about Feburary 21, 1995. There is a $20.00 non-refundable charge for

is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness
Demonstration program. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR
MINORITY, WOMAN OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED ENTERPRISES: The Department of
Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization
(OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, woman-owned, and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
