83415-3810 A -- ADASAGE DEVELOPMENT TOOL SET Contact Mr. Steven Borror. Lockheed
Idaho Technologies Company (LITCO), P.O. Box 1625, Idaho Falls, ID
83415-3810. Contact Mr. Steven Borror. Potential Licensing Opportunity
with LITCO. The prime operating contractor for the Department of
Energy at Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL). LITCO has
developed, copyrighted and trade marked the following AdaSAGE software
development system. AdaSAGE is an application development tool set for
Ada developers; implemented as a set of Ada packages and executable
programs used as support utilities during application development and
operation. Through the use of object oriented, table driven technology,
AdaSAGE provides the Ada developer with a wide variety of transient, as
well as persistent, reusable component object classes which are used as
building blocks to construct an application program. Using the provided
persistent object editor, as Ada developer creates application specific
reusable component object instances whose collective behavior is
coordinated and integrated by developer written application specific
Ada source code. This source code consists primarily of calls to
AdaSAGE reusable component object behavior routines. AdaSAGE is
composed of some 300,000 lines of Ada source code. Decreases of 400% in
program development expenditures with only 25% of the application
program requiring unique Ada source code creation is common. LITCO is
requesting a written indication of interest from industrial parties who
may be interested in end-using or adding AdaSAGE to their product line
for commercialization purposes. Either activity will require a
licensing agreement with terms to be negotiated. This Request For
Information is within the INEL mission to transfer Department of Energy
technology to the private sector and will close 30 days after
publication. Potential Licensees should send a description of their
company, their software production/servicing capabilities, and/or their
software commercialization success to Mr. Steven Borror, Technology
Transfer Office, LITCO, P.O. Box 1625, Idaho Falls, ID 83415-3810.
