G -- ON-SITE MOBILE COMMISSARY SERVICE. Sol. RFP R1-04-95-23. Due 032395. Contact Contract Clerk (208) 765-7497. Call-When-Needed, Mobile Commissary Service providing supplies to fire fighters on an as-needed, when-needed basis. The service consists primarily of selling clothing, footwear and tobacco products at unknown sites throughout northern Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, and northwestern South Dakota. The Contractor's base of operations for the mobile commissary unit shall be located within said geographic area and be able to reach any site within 24 hours of acceptance of an assignment. The base of operations is defined as the complete mobile commissary unit and the personnel necessary to operate said unit. The Commissary unit shall be able to access back country and unimproved mountain roads. The normal assignments for a commissary will be 3 to 10 days duration providing services for 300 to 1500 fire fighters. It is anticipated 1 or 2 contracts will be awarded under this solicitation for up to 4 commissary units. The contract will be an one-year contract with four optional one-year renewal periods.
