Privott, 804/441-6560 Provide technical writing services including publishing, editing and layout design for the NOAA Center for Ecosystem Health, Charleston, SC. The contractor shall be proficient in working in a Macintosh environment. The contractor shall be proficient in using Claris Impact, Pagemaker, Word, Excel, and other applications. Minimum 8 hours/week; maximum 24 hours/week. Provide graphic, design and production services including various graphics for reports, presentations, publications, educational material, slides. Develop graphic templates for standardizing different tasks. Minimum 8 hours/week; maximum 24 hours/week. Provide public outreach services which include the ability to translate complex technical and scientific information into lay language form. The contractor shall have experience in designing newsletters, brochures, press releases and other public information materials. Minimum 8 hours/week; maximum 24 hours/week. Upon request, during critical workload periods, the contractor shall provide said services at the Charleston facilities, to work out details of requirements or meet specific needs. Period of performance starts from date of award through September 30, 1995, with two one-year options. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
