DISTRICT AREA (ZIP CODE AREAS 169-172, 177-178, 180-188) SOL

Tokasz 410/997-6214. The work for this project shall include, but not
be limited to, general construction, repair and alternations and other
related services at various leased and U.S. Postal Service-owned
facilities located in the Harrisburg District Area (Bedford, Berks,
Bucks, Carbon, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin,
Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh,
Luzerne, Lycoming, Miffin, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northhampton,
Northumberland, Perry, Pike, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan,
Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, Wyoming, and York Counties). The work
to be performed under this contract is to be coordinated through the
work-order process. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one
or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a minimum of
five (5) years experience as of the date of issue in general
construction work. Contractors must also possess the capabilities of
working at least four (4) jobs at the same time. Specific work order(s)
will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the Unit
Price Schedule and Specifications. One or more "Work Orders" will be
issued totaling not more than $250,000 during a two (2) year period of
the contract. The initial limit of $250,000 may be increased by
modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting
Officer up to a maximum of$1,000,000.00. The Postal Service Guarantees
no specific number of work orders not a specific amount offer. (There
is no minimum amount to this contract.) The contractor will not be
required to perform work under a work order where the value of work in
any one building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to
submit one (1) "Multiplier" to be applied to the various Unit Prices
established in the Unit Price Schedule. The Multiplier must contain the
Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other
contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after Contract
Award. Offers are due by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, March 10, 1995. The
package is now available at a cost of $35.00 per package,
non-refundable. Make checks/money orders payable to: U.S. Postal
Service, referencing RFP #232098-95-A-0070. Please do not send cash.
