Install a Single-Ply Roof System at Samsville VOR, Samsville, Illinois in accordance with the specifications. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Remove the fiberglass antenna shelter from the roof; Install 3/8'' closed cell fanfold protection board over entire roof surface; Install one layer of single-ply mechanically attached roofing membrane over entire roof surface including the area cover by the fiberglass antenna shelter; Install one layer of single-ply membrane around the outside perimeter of the roof edge; Install vinyl Drip Edge with single-ply membrane around the outside perimeter of the roof edge; Install single-ply membrane flashing around the outside of the antenna shelter and the antenna supports inside of the shelter and other areas; Install single-ply walkway pad over the entire roof leaving 3'' space all around for drainage and the inspection of factory seams; Grind the existing ladder anchor plates flush with the existing roof surface; Reinstall two small drains in the antenna shelter floor; Provide one tarpaulin to cover the roof during inclement weather during the reroof work. Price range for this project is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. The issue date is on or after March 2, 1995. This solicitation is open to both Small and Large Businesses. FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
