Presolicitation, Construct Services Facilities, HTUX 93-0013 at the 440th Airlift Wing/General Mitchell International Airport, 300 East College Avenue, Milwaukee WI 53207-6299. Project consists of constructing a 2300 SF office building of reinforced concrete strip footings, foundation walls and floor slabs; exterior walls of combination face brick and applied texture finish system with CMU back-up; metal standing-seam roofing on steel joists; interior partition walls of gypsum board on metal studs; windows, vinyl wall covering; suspended ceiling system; metal and wood doors; packaged heating and cooling system; and electrical and plumbing services. Project is not subject to statutory limitatios. Construction magnitude $250,000 - $500,000. Performance time will be 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. Solicitation will be issued on or about 20 Mar 95. This acquisition is being conidered for Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) Set Aside. Interested SDB firms should as early as possible but no later than 15 days of this notice, notify this office in writing of their intention to bid the project as a prime contractor. This notification must include a positive statement of eligiblity as a small socially and economically disadvantage business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform a project of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from all interested business concerns. Bid packages will be available to prime contractors only on a first come first serve basis and must be in writing. (030)
