Z -- POSTTENSIONING SYSTEM FOR LOCK AT CHICKAMAUGA HYDRO PLANT SOL 1E-121960 POC Buyer: W H MURRAY Phone (615) 751-2346 TVA intends to purchase the following goods or services by Competitive negotiation: Furnish and install complete posttensioning system for lock at the Chickamauga Hydro Plant, upper gate block #37. Posttention- ing block 37 shall effectively tie the block together and halt any movement. The system consists of 7-52 strand, 7 wire, grade 270K tendons placed in block 37. The tendons are to be anchored 40 and 50 feet, alternately, below the rock line. Contractor is to drill all holes and design the anchor head assembly. Tendons shall be 155-165 ft. long. There will be 7 holes total from 155 to 165 ft. deep. Solicitation will issue 15 days after date of CBD Publication Technical data will be furnished with solicitation Delivery date: 4/04/95 FOB: labor at jobsite (destination) All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by TVA.
