The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to Wiltel, Inc. of Tulsa, Oklahoma to provide the Office of Information Technology with dedicated 9.6 telecommunication connectivity between all field offices, headquarters and the Operations Center mainframe computers. This service will support mainframe print data. Service is required through April 1995. The Securities and Exchange Commission has surveyed the market and believes that Wiltel is the only company that can meet all our requirements. Interruption in the current dedicated 9.6 service is not acceptable and any transition from the current vendor must be seamless and cost effective. Cost must be itemized by location. Responses to this notice will be evaluated solely to determine whether or not to issue a competitive solicitation.
