The Naval Air Warfare Center seeks information for planning purposes on a Radio Frequency Transparent Enclosure. The Enclosure's minimum dimensions are as follows: 64 feet long, 50 feet wide, and 25 feet high. The shape of the enclosure can be a quonset hut, shed or saltbox. The enclosure must have two or more vertical walls. Both ends which are 25 feet by 50 feet must be able to opened completely. The enclosure must have personnel access doors, air vents, and equipment hatches. This enclosure is to provide shelter from precipitation, wind, and sun. Above ground, the enclosure must be completely made of materials that do not disturb the electromagnetic fields. These fields will be in excess of 120,000 mw/cm2 peak and 60 mw/cm2 average power. The enclosure must be light enough, flexible, and transportable to be frequently towed from test site to test site without disassembly. The towing capability must be part of the enclosure and not require additional equipment (i.e. tractor trailer bed). The fabric that makes up the enclosure must have a life expectancy of at least 12 years, be fire self extinguishing (class 1 rating), be ultraviolet light resistent, and have electrical properties (relative permittivity, conductivity, and relative permeability) nearly equal to air. The material and above ground structure must have and attenuation over the frequency range of 10kHz to 40 GHz of 0.0dB.
