D -- DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT FIBER OPTIC NETWORKING SYSTEM SOL 579-16-95 DUE 033095 POC Contact Point, Peggy Miller, (605)745-2067 Contractor shall provide complete design and total implementation of fiber optic networking system at this medical center. Networking shall include Windows NT with MSM over the top environment. Work shall include installing approximately 255 work stations, 260 printers, 70 wireless laptops and 75 PCs along with training of end users and computer specialists. Work shall be accomplished in phases and is anticipated to be an 18 month project. Contractor must understand Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Decentralized Hospital Computer Program (DHCP) interfaces. DVA shall furnish all equipment and supplies necessary for installation and implementation. Design is anaticipated to begin August 1995.
