703/696-l0l7. Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps intends to issue a
contract to Minnesota Program Development for its Domestic Abuse
Intervention Project (DAIP) training. The training requirement is for
the remainder of FY 95 with two (2) one (1) year options for FYs 96 and
97. The training will be conducted at Marine Corps installations and
the contractor's facilities. The proposed training encompasses a
Coordinated Community Response (CCR) with original curricula developed
in coordination with the Duluth, MN legal/judicial community. The U.S.
Marine Corps currently uses this model curricula to train USMC military
and civilian personnel in a CCR to domestic violence. DAIP is the
exclusive owner of this curricula. The training will consist of (1)
knowledge and use of assessment tools (2) administrative staff and
consultant coaches for installation follow-ups (3) one-site follow-up
consultation and technical assistance (4) assist the Marine Corps to
develop a Marine Corps CCR Model to be trained at various sites
worldwide, (5) observe, evaluate and present feedback to Marine Corps
Family Advocacy Counselors, and (6) identification, screening and
training of potential faculty. No solicitation document exists.
Interested offers are invited to identify their capability to respond
to this requirement and submit in writing, sufficient technical/cost
information which demonstrates the ability to fulfill this requirement.
