Engineering Field Activity, West intends to obtain comprehensive cultural resources services at various Naval activities under the cognizance of the Engineering Field Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, the Southwest Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, and the Northwest Engineering Field Activity, Naval Facilities Engineering Command. The cultural resource services needed are primarily for Navy and Marine Corps facilities in California and Nevada; however, services may also be required for Navy and Marine Corps facilities in Arizona, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. The cultural resources services include the following: cultural resource literature searches; reconnaissance level studies and intensive surveys to locate and record prehistoric and historic sites, traditional/cultural sites, buildings, structures, and historic and historic archeological artifacts, sites, buildings, and structures for eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places; development and implementation of mitigation programs including, but not limited to, arecheological excavation and analysis, building/structure/landscape recordation; preparation of exhibits; preparation of Historic and Archeological Resource Protection (HARP) plans; inventory of archeological collections; construction monitoring; underwater archeological investigations; and other related studies (geomorphology, ethnohistory, physical anthropology) and analyses. Any or all of the above service may be required during the period of this contract. Selection will be based on price and technical considerations in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 15.6. Contract term will be for a base period of twelve months with two pre-priced options. Initial award of this indefinite quantity contract will be for the base year only with delivery orders issued on an ''as-needed'' basis. Minimum guarantee is $25,000.00. RFP N62474-93-R-2188 will be available on or about 13 March 1995. Proposal due date is 24 April 1995. One copy of the proposal is to be submitted to Bldg. 201, 2nd floor, ATTN: Allan Blair, no later than 3:00 pm Pacific Time at San Bruno.
