S -- ON-SITE SECURITY SERVICES FOR ERL-ATHENS, GA SOL C500215T1 POC Contact Point, Jenet Moon, (513)366-2055, Contracting Officer, Ruby Sugg, (513)366-2146 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a need for a contractor to provide security guard services to protect property and personnel at the U.S. EPA, Environmental Research Laboratory, Athens, GA. Duties shall include the following: screening visitors for admission to buildings; answering telephones and taking written messages; building lockup/unlock; monitoring equipments; walking in and around buildings to check doors, windows, and locks; observing for intruders, fire, smoke, water leaks, and unusual noises. Post is unarmed. Service shall be for 24 hours per day, 365(366) days per year inclusive of holidays. It is contemplated that the provisions of these security guard services will require approximately three (3) persons per 24-hours shift. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a base period of twelve (12) months with two (2) twelve (12) month options is contemplated. This contract has been set aside for small business.
