negotiated using Source Selection procedures. The work includes
replacement of elevator system controllers, control relay units,
compensation, sheave bearings, cab communications systems, new elevator
monitoring units, cab exhaust fans, selected hall control fixtures and
laterns, door operators, switichs at each pit, new cab floor, wall and
ceiling finishes, nesessary electrical upgrades to support the new
equiptment, as well as, new heat and smoke detection, new lighting and
receptacles at elevator pits and secondary, and air conditioning of
the elevator machine room with new air handling units, roof top
condending units, and smoke relief dampers at the elevator shafts for
elevator 1, 2, and 3 within Building 1 and incidental related work. The
Estimated Cost Range is between S100,000 and $500,000. The Standard
Industrial Code is 1796. The related small business size is $7 million.
The proposed contact listed here is unrestricted. The offerors will be
evaluated on price and other non-price (technical/management) related
criteria. Technical/management factors may include ''Experience and
Past Performance'', ''Technical Approach'', ''Scheduling '' and
''Staffing''. Award may be made from initial proposals. Do not call for
additional technical information. The only site visit is tentatively
scheduled for 21 March 1995 at 10:00 am. A pre-proposal conference will
be held immediately at the National Naval Medical Center to answer any
questions. Date for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 06 April
